With over 30 years of experience and his CSIA Certification, it's safe to say that Tim has a burning passion for his line of work. On his days off you can find him spending time outside, tending to a campfire or playing sand volleyball. You can also find him spending the weekend with his grandson eating cookies and having fun.

Eddie is a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep with a passion for fire safety and education. Outside of work you can find him performing in a local band, "The Sheet". But if he's not on stage he's probably watching soccer, eating lots of pizza, and spending time with his family.
Our Background Story
Chiminey Cricket has been serving central Iowa since 1983. We are a locally owned, 2nd generation, family business. The founder and creator, Dan Hughes, spent 38 years pouring his heart into this business before retiring. We thank Dan for his vision and dedication, giving the next Hughes generation the opportunity to continue and optimize the business. Tim is Dan’s 2nd oldest son (out of 7 children!) and is carrying the Chiminey Cricket torch into the future. on January 2021, Tim Hughes became the proud owner and GM of Chiminey Cricket Family Chimney Sweeps LLC.
